Dreamscout
I built a tool to solve my own job search. It became a product.
The Problem
Job searching in 2026 means navigating six different boards, copy-pasting cover letters, and spending more time on logistics than on finding the right role. Existing tools either oversimplify the process or cross an ethical line: auto-apply services that blast applications indiscriminately get candidates flagged and ignored.
I needed something that respected my time and my agency. Nothing existed. So I built it.
The Solution
Dreamscout is an AI-powered job search platform that aggregates listings from six major boards, uses Claude to score each position against your profile on a 0–100 scale, and generates tailored cover letters on demand. It learns from your behavior: every rating and preference feeds back into future scoring.
The core design principle: no auto-apply. Dreamscout surfaces the right opportunities and removes friction from the application process, but every decision stays with the human. This is a deliberate ethical stance, not a missing feature.
dreamscout.io Dashboard
How It Works
Multi-Board Scraping
Pulls listings from Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, LinkedIn, Indeed, and Workday into a unified feed. No more tab switching.
Scout Score
Claude reads each job description against your profile and outputs a 0–100 fit score with reasoning. Powered by the Anthropic API.
ATS Scoring
Evaluates how well your resume would perform against applicant tracking systems before you apply.
Cover Letter Generation
One click generates a tailored cover letter. Not generic. It references specific role requirements against your actual experience.
Behavioral Learning
Every interaction trains the system. Ratings, saves, and skips feed back into future Scout Score calculations.
Daily Digest
A curated email of top matches delivered each morning. The signal without the noise.

Technical Architecture
Product Thinking
Dreamscout is designed around a paid tier model with Scout Score as the primary paywall. The free tier surfaces listings. The pro tier ($15–19/month) unlocks AI scoring, cover letter generation, and the learning loop.
Shareable Scout Score cards are in development as a viral growth mechanism. A candidate who scores 94/100 on a role will want to show that. The card becomes a piece of social proof and a product discovery surface simultaneously.
Status
Live and in active development at dreamscout.io. Pro tier and shareable Scout Score cards are the next development priorities. I used the tool to apply for roles, including this one.
